I’ll admit, I love a challenge. Especially when it comes to crafting challenges. When I give myself a limited set of supplies to focus on, I find it inspires my creativity without overwhelming me. So, the class I’ve been planning for this weekend has been a great challenge for me! This week, I finally finished the full set of 20 cards using only:
- Season of Style Designer Journaling Tags
- Notecard & Envelopes
- Soft Suede & Cherry Cobbler Cardstock
- Cherry Cobbler 1” Grosgrain Ribbon
The hardest part was trying to make cards that didn’t require stamping. Sure, they could look even cuter with stamping, but I wanted to make this project easy for anyone to create regardless of what stamps you do or don’t have at home. But I was able to come up with cards like this one:
The notecards are a little smaller than an A2 cardbase, but it turns out they are a great size for these tags – which by the way, were marketed as being for the 8×8 divided scrapbooking pages, but I think they make great cards too. Here are the first 7 cards I created with them:
